Heritage Church (Chapel)
Our beautiful Heritage Church was built in 1911, as the original Ellesmere Methodist Church, and was relocated to Ferrymead in the 1970s and is now non-denominational.
The Church is ideal for weddings, memorial services and celebrations and you are welcome to arrange your own celebrant. It can seat up to 70 guests on pews, extra chairs may be added if required.
The Church hire fee is $150/hr plus GST for a minimum three hour hire. (Additional costs may apply, ask for a copy of our information pack).
WEDDING TRAM: There is also the added option for your guests to arrive on the Wedding Tram, which would return to pick up the bridal party. This is a fantastic photo opportunity and a unique way to arrive at your ceremony. Wedding Tram hire is $185 plus GST for 2 hours.

Friendly Societies Lodge Hall
A relatively new building, designed and constructed in an authentic 1920's heritage style and decor. The wood panels and decor of the Lodge make it a great option for wedding receptions, parties and celebrations and includes the use of the area behind the Lodge, next to the ponds.
The Lodge Hall can cater for a wide range of functions with up to 90 guests for a seated meal, or up to 100 for a meeting or reception style function.
The Lodge hire fee is $150/hr plus GST for a minimum three hour hire.

Wedding Tram
Our beautiful heritage wedding tram is a unique addition to any wedding and the perfect way to compliment your wedding day.
Your can either choose to make a picture perfect entrance by being brought down into the village next to the church via the wedding tram with your bridal party to meet your guests, or conduct your ceremony and then board the wedding tram to take you to the next part of your wedding journey.
This is a fantastic and unique photo opportunity and a distinctive way to arrive at your ceremony.
Wedding Tram hire is $185 plus GST for 2 hours (additional half hour allowed for decorating the wedding tram in your style prior to your hire).

Heritage Railway Station
The Railway Station is ideal for groups of up to 50 seated in a meeting style. It is great for small meetings or functions with a difference.
The Station is located along side the park railway tracks, within the heart of "Moorhouse Township" The beautiful wood panelled interior space includes a small kitchen prep area for you to use.

Coronation Park
This beautiful park is located in the heart of the township and is the perfect place to hold your event, picnic or wedding reception. Watch the trams rumble past as you soak up the atmosphere of the Heritage street.

Our beautiful Heritage Rose Garden set in tranquil surroundings with some roses dating back to the 1890's is available if you wish to have an outdoor wedding.
Hire is $100 per hour plus GST for a minimum of three hour hire.

Wedding Photo Shoots
If your wedding is booked with Ferrymead Park, you are able to hold you wedding photo shoot within the park as part of your booking.
If you have not booked your wedding with the Park, there are many beautiful gardens and buildings that you are welcome to book a photo shoot for at $150 p/h plus GST. This includes entry for the photographer and bridal party.
